Step 1: Create your account & complete the profile by providing basic details.
Step 2: Proceed to book Chetak by selecting a varient, colour, preferred dealer.
Step 3: Make online payment of booking amount.
Once you make online payment of booking amount, you should receive booking confirmation. We will also send an email and SMS with booking & payment details for future reference.
Note:Due to Govt. guidance on COVID-19, manufacture of Chetak has currently stopped. If you have already booked a Chetak, you shall receive information on email. New bookings are currently suspended.
If you have registered on the website, we shall let you know when bookings are reopened. At this stage it depends on Govt. advise and progress of COVID-19 at our factory and at all or vendors.

The prices mentioned at the time of booking are indicative and for your reference perspective only.
No. Once your booking is confirmed, you are not allowed to change colour. You may cancel this booking and make a new booking with preferred colour. Cancellation charges will apply.
No. You are allowed to change dealer only till booking payment. Once booking payment is made, you cannot change dealer.
No. Booking is confirmed with a payment of token amount and it does not confirm you delivery of vehicle. You must complete the selection of insurance, documents for registration etc either online or physically at the dealership, and make final payment to ensure allocation, registration and delivery of Chetak.
We take utmost efforts to make the Chetak available to you in quickest time possible, but there may be delays in deliveries due to unavoidable circumstances./p>
No. You are required to have address proof from the city of the dealership you select for the purpose of registration at that city RTO.
If booking is made with incorrect details, the dealership shall reject your booking and cancel the same. Applicable cancellation fee will be charged.

In case of booking with wrong details, your booking will be cancelled and applicable cancellation fee will be charged.
The Chetak can be charged at any three pin AC 220V, 5A wall socket. If you can charge your Phone, you can charge your Chetak too.
The Chetak battery is designed to last for 7 years, 70000 kms with a warranty of 3 years, 50000 kms.
The Chetak has a class leading range of 95+ km in Eco Mode on a single charge.

Yes. You are can re-schedule your test ride.
Please visit online to cancel your test ride. Alternately, you can inform dealership to cancel your test ride. We recommend you to experience Chetak by taking a test ride.
In case of unavoidable circumstances, your dealer may cancel test ride request. You can re-book a test ride online.

Due to high requests of test ride, your preferred date / slot may not be available for test ride. We suggest you to select a date & time slot from the available ones.
No. Test ride is free of cost. You can avail it by booking a slot online and visiting dealership to experience Chetak test ride.

Yes. You can take more than one test rides of Chetak. Once you complete 1st test ride, you may visit the website and book a test ride again.

"For all booking payments as a special gesture, your dealership has waived the transaction charges.
For all other payments (i.e. final payment) gateway fees will be charged extra. This amount shall be directly visible on the payment gateway page and your dealership receives only the final payment amount due to him as per the invoice."
Don't worry. If your money is deducted, it will be refunded directly by the payment gateway within 5 working days to the same account through which you made the payment.

No. You need to make the entire booking amount payment using single mode of payment.
No. Once you select a mode of payment, the entire amount will be deducted from the single account for booking.
Please ensure your account have sufficient balance / credit limit to make entire booking payment.
Don't worry. If your money is deducted, it will be refunded within 5 working days to the same account through which you made the payment.
You can go ahead and make fresh payment to confirm booking of Chetak.

We recommend you to continue the process on website. If you wish to switch to manual process, you can contact dealer directly. Please note - the selections and payment made for booking on website will be available with dealership and you have to continue the remaining process and process manually.
Yes. You are allowed to cancel the booking till you make final payment.
However, once you make final payment, cancellation is not permitted and refund shall not be entertained.
As per terms and conditions agreed by you, we are charging Rs. 1000 towards cancellation fees for your booking.
Don't worry. The refund process may take up to 5 working days. The refund amount will be transferred to the same account through which you made the booking payment.

Yes. We would be happy to get you back. You can login on the website and book a Chetak once again.
For cancelled booking, the amount will be refunded back to you in 5 working days.

In partnership with Bajaj Allianz General Insurance, we are currently providing Basic plan and Silver plans. In addition, you may opt for Personal accident covert, 24 X 7 Spot assistant & Vehicle replacement options.
Your final premium amount will be calculated based on the plan and add-ons selected.
If you already have personal accident cover, you can opt out of it.
Insurance policy is valid for 5 years from the date of your vehicle registration for third party policy.
Basic plan includes, one year of comprehensive coverage and five years of basic third party liability (i.e. maximum 5 years).
No. You cannot change the insurance service provider online. If you wish to buy other insurance, you have opt out of online process and complete the purchase directly with dealer.
You have to submit proof of identity, proof of address documents. Vehicle documents will be submitted by your dealer. The acceptable documents are mentioned while uploading the documents on website.
As per regulations, Insurance policy is mandatory for registration and use of vehicle. Your vehicle registration will happen only after having a valid insurance policy.

Processing fees as mentioned by Bajaj Finance will be applicable. The exact amount depends on the amount of finance you have opted or sanctioned by Bajaj Finance Ltd.
Hypothecation charges are levied by RTO for registration of vehicles on finance, wherein the vehicle is hypothecated to finance service provider till closure of finance amount.
You need a co-applicant when you are financially dependent on family members or have low / variable monthly income. Having a co-applicant with regular income increases your chances of loan approval for required amount.
No. Your vehicle with RTO will be registered in your name only.

Home charging which comprises of a Chetak branded wall socket compatible with your AC001 plug and installation with upto 5 meters of cable is chargeable with effect from 01 October 2020 (the limited period complementary offer ended on 30 sept 2020). The price is indicated on the Chetak online portal where you book/purchase the vehicle.
Kindly note it is not compulsory to purchase the home charging kit. The Chetak may be charged at any three pin AC 220V, 5A wall socket.
Once you book a Chetak online and continue to purchase process, you can select for home charging during the purchase journey.
Yes. You may specify the preferred installation date and time slot. Installation service provider will get in touch with you directly.
The charges of standard bundle offer for home charging kit and installation service, mentioned online is for surface installation only. Any additional activity like drilling holes or cabling in excess of 5 meters shall be payable by the customer directly to the installation service provider.
Purchase of home charging kit and installation service is optional. You need to ensure you have a properly installed standard BIS compliant three pin AC 220V, 5A wall socket which has been correctly earthed. Bajaj Auto recommends using an independent 10A rated MCB for safety.
Home charging installation service is available within the city limits in which vehicle is purchased & registered. Please contact your dealer to check installation service availability in your area. Our dealer and installation partner may provide service to your address at additional costs, please check with your dealer.

The details provided during booking are indicative. Based on actual insurance plan selected, finance (if opted), amendments to ex-showroom price as on date & RTO charges, the final amount is recalculated, which may be different than the indicative amount mentioned during booking.

Yes. You can make the final payment to the dealership directly. The subsequent vehicle allocation, registration and insurance details will be available on the website.
The payment gateway fees will be charged for online payment.
There is a possibility of revision of vehicle prices, the on-road price of the vehicle as on vehicle invoice date is treated as final amount payable. Hence, there may be difference in the amount you paid earlier vs the invoice price. You can pay the differential price by visiting website or directly to dealer.
In case of reduction in the vehicle price as on invoice date vs the amount you paid (booking amount + final amount), the differential amount will be refunded to you, please coordinate with dealership.
No. Once final payment is made, you cannot cancel the vehicle booking.

Deliveries of Chetak Premium has started. Bookings made by 29 February 2020 are estimated to be shipped by September quarter. For bookings made after 29 February 2020, vehicles shall be shipped by BAL to dealerships after September 2020 quarter. This unforeseen delay is due to COVID-19, affecting production.
Orders shall be serviced by dealership in booking sequence, subject to document verification and final payment being received by dealership. Terms and conditions apply.
